Aspiring actor James Gifford needed a headshot for acting auditions. I love his look, which can vary from leading man to guy-with-a-secret. Casting companies these days are looking for evenly lit color headshots showing great eye contact and personality. James did a great job in responding to direction, and showed different many aspects of his personality during the shoot. Here are three of my favorites.  
Photographing Jessica for her acting headshot was a joy! She’s a young teenager, but has an innate sense of how to relate to the camera. I provided a number of choices for her: closeups, three-quarter-length and head-and-shoulders, in both vertical and horizontal format. Most agencies are now happy to accept color headshots, as opposed to the traditional black and white.
